ADOS-2
At GB Psychology, we use the Autism Diagnostic Observation Schedule – Second Edition (ADOS-2) as a key part of our comprehensive autism assessments. The ADOS-2 is a structured, play- and conversation-based assessment that allows our clinicians to observe social communication, interaction, and behaviours relevant to autism. Tailored to the individual's age and language level, it provides valuable, standardised insights that support accurate and meaningful diagnostic conclusions in both children and adults.
ADI-R
As part of our autism assessment process at GB Psychology, we conduct the Autism Diagnostic Interview – Revised (ADI-R) with a parent or caregiver. This in-depth, structured interview gathers detailed information about the individual’s developmental history and current behaviour. The ADI-R is particularly valuable in capturing early signs of autism and understanding lifelong patterns, making it an essential tool for building a full, evidence-based diagnostic picture in collaboration with other assessment components.
